The 4-D Ride - Diamondbacks, Devils, Ducks & Donuts - Oktoberfest Ride Only

Start the morning with a nice wake-up call as we circumvent The Diamondback - NC 226A. The Diamondback has more than 190 steep, climbing curves in just 12 miles. The temperatures cool as you climb the steep switchbacks looping almost 360 degrees. Runs of S-curves climb and twist sharply as they snake through lush green forest en route to the Blue Ridge Parkway. 

We will follow the Blue Ridge Parkway to NC 80, known to some as The Devil's Whip, which follows the winding path of Buck Creek. 

We will take it easy after these twisties and head to Harley Davidson of Asheville for a check in and a little shopping. 

After all the riding and retail therapy, we will refuel those bellies with a lunch stop at White Duck Tacos (patch stop) and Hole Donuts. 

The ride will wrap up with a beautiful easy going ride back to Little Switzerland on the Blue Ridge Parkway. One last stop in Little Switzerland for ride souvenirs (t-shirts, patches, etc.) and a photo of your bike next to the infamous Diamondback curb.
